Answer their is a self test that you can run to see what the system is seen wrong.
i can provide you the test info.

Addition ok, how do i begin?

Answer ok fisrt off turn the key on to the # 2 position and then press and hold the auto and off button at the same time it will dilpay digits indication a dtc.

Answer forgot to mention when the display starts to do its test you cna let go of the buttons.

Answer you might want to copy the display so its easier to read while sitting in the vehicle

Addition ok, so i set the key to number 2 pos, and pressed both auto and off. Before i pressed the buttons the display read 62 and after i pressed them it remained on 62, nothing changed. I tried it several times...

Answer hold long did you hold the buttons ?

Addition i tried holding them for a few seconds to about 30 seconds to just simply pressing and letting go..

Answer you need to hold them for about 10 sec's or more until it gets into diag mode.

Addition should i have it OFF before i press the buttons or in any other form? Or does that even matter? I will try it again...

Answer you pressed both buttons at the same time ?
try pressing the auto button and then the off and see what happens.
no when the key is off is exits the daig mode.

Addition Ok, i just went and tried it again pressing the buttons in every different way possible. When i press the auto first then the off, the display turns off but nothing ever pops up and I held it for up to a minute. And pressing off fist then auto, it shows up 62 (where i had it previously set) and never changes.

Answer ok since the system wont let you do the self diag it will need to be accessed thru the hds from the dealer. You might have a faulty climate control unit or something weird going on.

Addition ok, well it probably is something "weird" becuase I have a pretty nice list of electrical problems with this vehicle! Climate control just one of em, but the most irritating.

Answer what other things are going wrong ?

Addition Well, here it goes (from what all I can remember)
1. Climate control (as discussed)
2. Sometimes my steering wheel stereo controls work, and most of the time hitting the volume button will change various things like cd's or it will skip tracks, just random things
3. Right rear window works sometimes, from any of the controls. Sometimes I will have it rolled down but if I forget to roll it up it could take weeks for it to just start working again!
4. Drivers seat heater doesnt work, not sure if its just broke or "another weird thing"
5. Also again "sometimes" I will hear noises when the rear climate control is turned on full blast kinda like a grinding fan noise...more mechanical though
When I bought the car the pos battery term was completely corroded and about 3 inches down the wire. I cleaned them off and replaced the terminal...if that has anything to do with it.

Answer maybe the system is very sensitive to electrical current loss and low voltage. Pretty common problem with the battery cables to corroded and be damaged.
the battery cable is pretty easy to replace and your local acura dealer should have them in stock.
might be worth replacing the cable and seen if it corrects some of if not all the problems.
as far as the seat heater the heating element is burned out very common for them to fail first on section fails and then the whole thing stops heating up. Thats a big job to replace unless your good with hog ring pliers and patience.
